About Dr. Stewart
practice, Dr. Stewart has been restoring people’s health with chiropractic for over 11 years.
From 1996 through 1998 he worked as an associate doctor under the direction of three
different doctors giving him the background and experience that was needed to open his own
practice. In November of 1999, Dr. Stewart opened his own practice in Glen Rock, NJ
focusing on family health. Since then his patients have ranged from three months old to ninety-
six years old. Although most of his patients come in for wellness chiropractic adjustments, Dr.
Stewart also treats pain associated with the spine, nerves, muscles, and joints, as well as vision
problems, allergies, headaches, ear infections, colic and sleep disorders in babies, and shingles.

Recently, Dr. Stewart went back to school and received a specialty certification in the diagnosis
and treatment of sports injuries allowing him to help a larger pool of patients. This certification
also allows Dr. Stewart to work for high school, college, or professional sports teams as their
team chiropractor. He continues to attend professional seminars on a regular basis to fine-tune
his chiropractic skills and knowledge. In February 2007 he attended a seminar provided by the
Professional Football Chiropractic Society which focused on the treatment of acute and chronic
muscle injuries in the professional athlete.

Dr. Stewart is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Association of New Jersey
Chiropractors, and the ANJC Sports Council. Locally, he is the Vice President of the Glen Rock
Chamber of Commerce, the Vice President of the Glen Rock/Ridgewood LeTip International
networking group, and is the director of the Baseball Boot Camp youth instructional clinics for
Glen Rock, NJ. He looks forward to each and every day he can help his community be more
educated about their health.
Dr. Michael C. Stewart graduated from Los Angeles College of
Chiropractic in 1995 with a doctorate in chiropractic after
completing his undergraduate work in biology from Monmouth
University and California State University at Northridge. While
in school, he played Division One baseball, was part of two
national honor societies, on the national dean’s list, and served
as the student body president. Dr. Stewart began practicing in
January 1996 after passing his national and state exams.
